Deutsch

English

David Buckingham lives and works in L.A. where his Pop Art objects arise out of recycled materials like colored metal. He finds his inspiration as well as those materials in one of the many growing dumping grounds all around town and desert, always on search for some ‚waste with potential’. Driving around in his truck and cutting his metals out of old car wrecks or tanks, he creates unique, three dimensional objects in his atelier which combine the individuality of those reused materials with new humorous messages to instantly tickle the viewers perspective.
